<\/div>We are seeking a (Technical) Business Analyst<\/b> to join a major NSW Government program delivering a large\-scale, bespoke cloud\-based web application. This role will suit a hands\-on BA who enjoys bridging business needs and technical delivery, with strong experience working in Agile environments.
<\/div>You will be working within a multi\-disciplinary team including product owners, developers, and solution architects on a project with high visibility and long\-term scope.
<\/p>Key Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/h4>Facilitate workshops and engage directly with business stakeholders to gather and clarify functional requirements.
<\/p><\/li>Perform business process mapping using BPMN
<\/p><\/li>Write Epics and User Stories in JIRA for Agile sprints, ensuring clarity and traceability.
<\/p><\/li>Act as the interface between business users and technical delivery teams.
<\/p><\/li>Collaborate closely with developers, solution architects, and technical leads to ensure successful outcomes.
<\/p><\/li>Represent business interests during sprint planning, refinements, and showcases.
<\/p><\/li>Translate high\-level business requirements into clear technical specifications
<\/p><\/li> <\/ul>
<\/p>Essential Skills & Experience<\/b>
<\/div>End\-to\-end SDLC experience within Agile delivery environments.
<\/p><\/li>Proficiency in BPMN for process modelling.
<\/p><\/li>Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation experience.
<\/p><\/li>Skilled in writing detailed User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
<\/p><\/li>Experience working with web\-based applications (single\-page apps preferred).
<\/p><\/li> <\/ul>Desirable<\/b>
<\/p>Sound understanding of technical concepts including:
<\/p>APIs and system integration
<\/p><\/li>Basic knowledge of Angular, .NET, and MS SQL
<\/p><\/li>Data dictionaries, form structures, schedulers, and data flow
<\/p><\/li>Integration, migration, and gateway functionality
<\/p><\/li> <\/ul><\/li> <\/ul>Experience on custom\-built software projects (not COTS or configuration\-based).
<\/p><\/li>Exposure to user\-centred design approaches.
<\/p><\/li>Familiarity with Azure DevOps and related Agile toolsets.
